My rhinoplasty seems to have been a failure. It's been a year since the procedure, and my nose looks almost exactly the same as before. i wanted a tip reduction (more refined) and definitely i wabted it upturned. it looked amazing a few days after surgery (see picture). I'm truly heartbroken. I followed all post-op instructions to the tee, and was seen every month by the surgeon - whom I made aware of these concerns at month 6 (I was told more time was needed and put on a short round of oral anti inflammatories). I was also told to reprise taping my nose, which I did. Please, help me understand what went wrong. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to move forward.
