I'm wondering if anyone can help me - Around 10 years ago I had my first cosmetic rhinoplasty as I had a hump starting from the top of my nose. The surgery didn't go as planned, and for some reason I ended up with a hump in the middle of my nose instead. I went back to the same surgeon for a revision surgery, and finally was left with a pinched nose and bulbus tip. After 2 surgeries I decided to move on with my life as I wasn't mentally prepared to tackle another one and I was still quite young at 17 years old! Now however, I have problems in my breathing from my pinched nose because it is acting as an obstruction. With my breathing issue and still the aesthetic issue, I've decided now is the right time to look at having a revision rhinoplasty with a new surgeon.
I was recommended Dr Lucian Ion by a friend - the work he did was great and I love that he does 2d/3d imagery to show what the result could be. However, I have found some negative reviews which really worry me. The consultation is £300 for 2 sessions.
I've done extensive research into Dr Hassan - I like that he has appeared on BBC1, BBC3, Channel 4 - .etc. as I think that shows he is reputable and not afraid to do surgeries on camera. His image is also everything which means his work needs to be great and I haven't really found any negative reviews. For 1 consultation is £200.
A revision surgery can be alot more complex than a primary and so I'm looking for anyone who has met or made a decision between Dr Hassan and Dr Ion to understand their reasons why and their recommendation.
Please help :)
