Hi all! I had my first mastopexy and implants in 2013. My Dr. would only do saline implants and one was 550 and one was 535 I want to say. They were HUGE. I am 5'7" and 150 so I could carry it, but man were they cumbersome. They looked good in the beginning, but even so, the left one still had some skin kind of hanging at the bottom. He did a donut lift but really should have done the anchor. Fastforward 11 years and they started hanging like melons, and my neck and back were killing me, and I was sick of having G sized boobs. It really limited me on things I could wear and bras were hard to find in a store. I had to buy everything online.
This past Monday I had another lift and implant exchange. My Dr did an anchor lift and put in Natrelle Soft Touch silicone, moderate profile, 375 in one side and 405 in the other. Now it's too soon to tell what size I will be but I can already tell how much lighter they feel and more manageable. I am hoping for a full D or small DD. This time around was not as painful as the first time and there is less bruising. That said, I can't wait to see the final result. So far the worst part is the incisions under my boobs. The bra kind of rubs and irritates it so I am constantly trying to pull the bra down. I only did pain meds the first 2 days so I think that is pretty good! I had my day after follow up and all looked good. My Dr also has his patients do hyperbaric chamber treatments (I did 2) to promote healing. I took this whole week off and half of next week to just relax and heal.
