So I am doing a septoplasty because I have a lot of breathing issues with my nose and my septum is pretty deviated. My doctor said he removes majority of the septum bone and about 1/3 of the lower cartilage. I'm not sure what any of this means cosmetically and functionally.
while my main wish is to fix breathing it would also be awesome if my nose changed cosmetically as it's just a big middle eastern nose. I know the dorsal hump won't be removed but still hoping it can be straightened a bit. But my nose looks physically deviated to the left on the outside and the lower half is raised. Even the lower half has a big curve and droops down so my side profile isnt great. What can I expect?
