Hey everyone. So I just had a rhinoseptoplasty done 3 weeks ago from today and the main reason why I wanted it done was to improve my breathing. The cosmetic part of my nose is still healing and a little tender of course which is fine, but another part that I am nervous about a little bit is the inside of my nose. The right side of my nose was the most blocked when I got the surgery and now it is the exact opposite. When I look up my nose my left nostril is blocked from skin and cartilage overlapping it making the airway narrow.
Is this just part of the healing process and will it die down for a clearer airway? I just think it's fascinating that my left nostril is now worse than my right. I've been allergy tested once and was told I don't have any allergies yet I continue to be congested.
Biggest question is will this extra skin clear up? Thanks
