Any experience with the teardrop shape?

I am 5'3" , 125 lbs, and a 34 a or b depending. I just had surgery Monday and had 300cc teardrop cohesive gel. I've read that these aren't ideal. My doctor said they were the best and I took his word for it, since I wanted a natural look. I paid $600 more for them. Now I am doubting my decision. I want them to drop and I want them to look good. I'm wondering if I paid too much and would've gotten a better look with the round.
