Hello,I had an S lift (lower facelift) 10 weeks ago, and I am still experiencing extreme pulling, chewing is painful, I still cannot open my mouth completely. My face is not swollen, but shows hard bumps and has not come back to its normal shape...despite ultra sons, anti inflammatories, and botox injections at minimal dosage, I have no improvement so far. My surgeon says it is an uncommon inflammatory reaction to the stitches, he thinks that it will improve with time..if not, he will eventually have to reopen and remove the non resorbable material. I found a few other similar cases like mine on the internet, but we never have the end of the story. If anyone experienced the same, I would appreciate hearing from these persons.Thank you.
