Facelift Recovery - Numbness & Sensitivity

I'm currently 5 weeks post-op from my facelift surgery and have some concerns about my recovery. Most of my face feels both numb AND sensitive at the same time, which seems contradictory to me. I was aware that numbness could last up to 6 months, but I never expected to experience both numbness and sensitivity simultaneously.

Additionally, for the past 5 weeks, I've been struggling to wear my prescription eye glasses for more than an hour at a time due to the sensitivity around my ears. This unexpected issue has added an extra challenge to my recovery, as not being able to wear my glasses has made it difficult to see clearly for work, driving, and at home.

Despite watching numerous facelift recovery videos where most people seem to feel great after just 3 weeks, I haven't come across anyone mentioning these specific issues.

Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms 5 weeks out from a facelift? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
