I underwent facial fat transfer in conjunction with full body liposuction 6 years ago. I had fat transferred to my cheeks, under my eyes, and into my chin.
About 4 years later, I had additional fat put under my eyes as this area was still hollow. While I was initially happy with the results following fat transfer, I now believe a majority of this was swelling and only a very small amount of fat ended up surviving.
My under-eyes are still somewhat hollow (I have since used filler in this area), and the chin projection I was hoping to achieve with fat didn’t work. I’ve since undergone a sliding genioplasty.
Has anyone had a fat transfer done to areas of their face? Where did you have the fat put, and how satisfied are you with the results?
