How Long Does Swelling Really Last After Rhinoplasty? My Experience Feels Differ

Hi everyone,

I had rhinoplasty about 5 weeks ago, and while my surgeon says the swelling is “normal,” I feel like the tip is still very bulbous and uneven. I was told swelling could last for months, but I didn’t expect it to still look this puffy at this stage.

A few questions for those who’ve gone through this:

How long did it take for your swelling (especially the tip) to noticeably go down?

Did your nose continue to change shape after 2,3 months?

Were there any tips or remedies you used to help with the healing/swelling process (e.g., taping, cold compresses, sleeping elevated)?

Just looking for some reassurance or real-world timelines from people who’ve been through it. Thanks in advance!
