7 months post bilateral DIEP. Looking for Nipple and Areola reconstruction. I'd like a physical nipple and areola that you can feel. I'd like them to be surgically reconstructed and I'd like that to inculde areolas. Most of what I see is tatoos or nipple bumps with tatooed areolas. Does anyone know a surgeon who constructs an acutal NAC? I'm suprised that microsurgeons, plastic surgeons are so fast to recomend a picture of a nipple vs a reconstruction - it's surgery not a painting class :) Honestly I'd like it to include some nerves as well. I tried researching but just keep getting blurred pictures of tattos. I'm in the states and willing to travel. Thanks for any advice!
