Hi all, So I just got a tattoo cover up about a week and a half a go and right away new I hated it. I've just made a bad situation worse as now the tattoo is very dark and much larger than it originally was. I want to get it lightened to the extent that I can get a better cover up easily and have freedom with the new design. I know I can't start treatment for a while but I'm just thinking (read: obsessing) in advance. My tattoo is mainly black and red - but the old tattoo underneath is green and purple. It is a combination of black outlines and black dot work for the main part. Do you think it would respond better to Picosure or the new Picoway? The Picoway is so new that I'm struggling to find many examples of people who have undergone this treatment and how successful it was. From the reviews on here it seems like the Picosure often isn't very effective at treating black outlines? Also. What do you think is more important - a very skilled technician or the newest type of lasor? I'm trying to choose between The Reset Room (Wayne is meant to be very good but uses the Picosure) and Phi Clinic, which has the Picoway. Also have you any information about the type/make of ink used affecting success of removal? And is dot work easier to remove than outlining? (Even when it is thick?)I have attached a photo of my tattoo taken a couple of days a go. As you can is it is so dark! Going to be a long journey ahead.
