I had a lower face and neck lift 3 weeks ago. Day 6 Dr. tried to do needle aspiration of expanding neck hematoma but the blood was too thick. Day 9 went back into the OR to open flap and have hematoma suctioned. Bruising is dissipating. But where hematoma was cleared is very lumpy and swollen. Anyone ever actually properly heal after hematoma drainage? Dr. says to give it time and let it heal. I am getting lymphatic massage. Still very early stages. Would help to know of anyone else got through this complication successfully? I feel so depressed.
