I am about 6 weeks post op jaw implants
I had a submental incision done (to avoid nerves) as well and it is and still hard but smaller.
Very partial numbness in my lower lip, but very very restricted movement in my lower lip (can’t frown at all, mostly right side of lower lip) and can be seen when I smile or talk.
When I pucker my lips the whole bottom right side doesn't move.
Is this temporary and normal within this recovery process? Especially at 6 weeks post op?
