Do you think results differ between getting Profractionals at a MedSpa or at a Dermatology office?

I've found that there's a significant price difference between getting a profractional laser treatment done at MedSpas or at a Dermatology/Plastic Surgery office. I wonder if there's an actual difference in results. It seems like both offices have their laser technicians perform the treatment, so why is there such a price difference? MedSpas, where I'm located, do it for about $400-$600. Meanwhile, offices run by physicians cost $1,000+.But again, it's not an actual physician performing the treatments - they're laser techs. So does one possibly provide better results? Assuming both techs have been doing it for the same amount of time.
