Just saw the dentist on Thursday. He removed a crown (over an implant) to see if it could be restored or I would need a new crown. I need a new crown. Anyway, I guess he just put the screw back in and I was getting dressed when suddenly it dropped from my upper right molar. I am also awaiting a crown over an implant on my lower left molar, so chewing is really hard.
I hope for him to squeeze me on Tuesday to "rescrew" this in. Luckily I didn't swallow it. Is it safe to just leave as is. Of course I can't chew on anything, but what precautions can I take to keep it clean until I see the dentist.
