Hey, I am a 20-year-old looking to undergo a corner lip lift to address corner lip hooding and excess skin around my lips. I am also planning to get a custom jaw and chin implant, so I’d like to have my lip procedure done first to ensure proper proportions.
I previously waited two months for a consultation with a surgeon, only to be told early in the meeting that he only operates on patients between ages 30-60. While I understand his reasoning, I’d prefer to find a surgeon who is comfortable performing this procedure on someone my age and can move forward without unnecessary delays.
I have attached front, 45-degree, and side view images, as well as a morphed before-and-after of my ideal look for reference. I understand an exact match isn’t realistic, but I’d like to get as close as possible. I’ve also included images of me opening my mouth to provide a clearer perspective of my anatomy.
With my planned jaw and chin implant increasing the width of my lower face, I anticipate some natural increase in lip width as well. If achieving the right proportions requires additional lip augmentation procedures—such as adjustments to my upper or lower lip, or an extended upper lip lift—I’m completely open to that.
Ideally, I’d like to find a surgeon who specializes in corner lip lifts, as I want to ensure the best possible outcome.
This would not be my first time undergoing surgery—I previously had a pectus excavatum correction, which was partly cosmetic and partly functional. I’m comfortable with the surgical process and recovery.
While I’d prefer minimal scarring, it’s not my biggest concern. I have scars all over my body and don’t mind using concealer or having a small one if it means the procedure is done correctly. My priority is ensuring the issue is properly addressed—I’d rather have a well-executed procedure with a small scar than an ineffective one with a barely noticeable scar.
