I got rhinoplasty a year ago and got an implant for my bridge and my ear cartilidge for my tip. I'm concerned that the right side is more pronounced than the left side.
I did reach out to my doctor who did the surgery about it and he said he would need to check it with a possibility of revision surgery due to my tip being slightly deviated. However, I did my procedure overseas. I am also aware of how complicated it is to do a revision surgery and would rather explore alternative opinion to see if there's another way to balance it out. I've seen that there's high risk in doing a revision so I'm not particularly keen to do that.
During my healing process, I did have an infection and it did leave a lump where my incision was done in my right nostril. Could it be a possibility that I have had excess scar tissue developed on the right side, hence a more pronounced right side? Could it be a possibility that I try steroid injections instead to try and reduce scar tissue? Any thoughts on this would be helpful. Thanks so much.
