I have just been diagnosed with a large, deep intramuscular lipoma in my right deltoid muscle. I am waiting for a referral to a specialist. I think these kind of tumors (intramuscular) are pretty rare and especially where mine is. I am concerned about the recovery since they are going to have to cut into the muscle to remove the tumor. I am a legal secretary and of course, type all day, so I am trying to get some idea how long I will be out of commission (and how painful it will be after surgery). Any feedback from your experiences would be appreciated.
