  • The tip *must* upturn...

The tip *must* upturn slightly after dorsal hump removal?

I had a relatively minor hump, no nose projection. I figured removing it (visually imagining it as flat) is really all I wanted. My doc said that because the hump was removed, there had to be some upturn to the tip. I have seen many pics of dorsal hump removal (worse than mine) with no apparent tip upturn. Mine is so bad that I freaked out and cried bc I didn't recognize myself. I don't understand why now he's saying that the act of removing a hump necessarily equals an upturned tip. I'm horrified at my Day 3 tip. I know it's still swollen, but I went from about an 87* angle that I loved to almost 100*. It doesn't even look like me
