In 2005, I had a VP brain shunt. It wasn't the typical brain shunt surgery. Mine was a bit more complicated. My NSG had to go in through the top of my skull, versus behind the ear. I had a 7 cm arachnoid cyst, hydrocephalus, and two syringes. My maladies were life-threatening. It would be great if there is someone out there who had liposuction procedure in the abdomen area and you also have a shunt - the tubing of which carries the CSF into the stomach. Thanks!
