Thermi caused my thyroid problems

I did not know that there was a difference between ThermiRF and ThermiTight last year. I had ThermiRF. However, for what I am writing here I do not think it makes a difference.If you have thyroid problems or it is in your family history, maybe Thermi procedures on your neck are not safe. I never had any thyroid problems pre-Thermi. However, within a month, I became so exhausted that I couldn't function and was freezing cold all the time. I would have the heater on full blast, was covered with blankets, and was still shivering--in May!! I had no idea what was wrong. After numerous doctor visits and bloodwork, it was eventually discovered that my thyroid antibodies were attacking my thyroid. I am not overweight, I eat extremely healthy, and have never had any medical problems before.this, I knew Thermi was radiofrequency. What I did not know was that it is radiofrequency radiation.Radiation over the neck should be avoided by those with a family history of thyroid problems. The doctor did not ask me if I had any family members with a thyroid problem (I do), nor did he ask if I had thyroid problems (I didn't). He never told me that there were any risks all. Quite the contrary--he said it was completely safe. There was little information on Realself at the time and it had a 94% positive rating. I did not have thyroid problems before Thermi. ThermiRF on my neck took my healthy thyroid and made it start attacking itself. This is not cool. People need to know that it can cause problems for those at high-risk. Doctors should ask these questions in advance and inform their patients of this risk Thermi should not be considered safe on the neck if you are at-risk for future thyroid issues.
