Thinking of Smart Lipo on love handles and lower tummy -- how long is recovery/swelling? Also, scars?

I am in very good shape -- weigh 135-140 and am 5'6. I work out 5x a week and eat paleo but still have the dreaded muffin top and lower pooch. I had a consultation for Sculpsure and then learned Smartlipo only like $1,500 more and could make more dramatic results. The clincher is that I am in the entertainment business and have to travel a lot for work so I need to know how long it is until you get back to normal(ish). And how long the scars last?Also, I am 48 with three kids, doc says great skin tone, would love to hear from anyone else who has had these areas done?Thank you!!
