I had a neck lift 12 weeks ago along with a lower face lift. I had expected tightness for the first month then ran into healing problems with my body spitting sutures at temples and down to ear. Dr had to re-suture a different section once a week for 4 weeks. These areas are now healing fine. About one month ago the tightness in my face, neck and behind head got alot worse. I am so tight around ears down to beneath chin and extending to the back of my head. Why am I experiencing so much more tightness 12 weeks out? Could my healing have been delayed from suture issue? Is this normal? How long have some patients experienced tightness? I am nervous about how long recovery is taking.
