Tranexamic acid for Melasma

I have just started treatment using oral tranexamic pills. I am taking half a pill morning and evening each day. I’ve read a small number of success stories but there doesn’t seem to be as much out there about this treatment as other forms of melasma treatment. I’ve tried Obagi to no real effect (apart from giving me smoother skin generally). I have also tried Triluma which has a noticeable real effect but is temporary. I am excited to try this new treatment as my dermatologist said she had just found out about it and some of her clients have had great results. I will keep you posted on my progress. If anyone has any experience out there I’d be very happy to hear it.
