Hello Everyone. I am a proud mama of a two year old little boy and I am also very excited for my TT/Lipo of the flanks in January. However, I am a little nervous about how I am going to handle everything. My husband will not be available to help, but my mother is taking a week off work to help with me, my little boy and our dogs. One of my college friends can come check on us the next week and my sister may be able to help out a little. My surgeon said that since I delievered via emergency c-section to expect my recovery to be right along those lines and the pain will be similar or less. Has anyone had that experience and would like to offer me some advice? I want to plan for everything possible. What can you tell me about going through this with a toddler? He is a mama's boy and clingy. He loves my parents, but I am just concerned about getting through the second week and onward. Also, my surgeon provides a binder for after the procedure and said that most patients do just fine with one, but I want to get another to change so the first one can be washed. Any suggestions? Since I am asking so many questions... I am 5'0" and weigh in the low 120's. I am having my muscles repaired and this awful skin removed and the stubborn flank mess lipo'd. I try to eat right (although with a two year old it is hard sometimes) and stay active walking, some jogging and then weights when I can. Will this help me? Thank you so much!!!! Best wishes :) I am just so thrilled that I found this site and that there are so many lovely ladies that have made, are making and will make this journey. It makes me feel stronger somehow.
