When will my scalp heal?

I had a Face, neck, brow and lower lid lift on Halloween, 13 days ago. The facial swelling has gone down, the facial bruising is disappearing but my scalp still feels like a battlefield I can hardly touch and scabbing is thick and horrible. When will that subside? I had no idea how torn-up my scalp would be and how slow to heal it would be.
