Hello. I had been on Mucinex Max nasal spray (Afrin) for 9 years. 1 squirt 2x day each nostril. I quit May 17th, 2024. Is it normal to still be so congested. I am slotted for surgery either 7/25 or 8/8. four procedures are going to be done inside my sinus including septoplasty and turbinate reduction. Right now I'm on a ween down of oral prednisone 30mg, I also use 50 mcg Flonase 2 x day, 137 mcg Azelastine 2 x day. I am finding some relief at this minute. Two questions: Will I rebound back after I am done with oral prednisone? Is it normal to still be swollen and congested this far out after quitting Afrin?
