Hello! I haven't been on here in many years. I've had 4 surgeries and 1 smaill procedure to remove grafts put in that the other surgeon was supposed to take out and didn't :( Here lately, I've noticed I cannot breathe/smell or even taste stuff now. I went to another local surgeon who did the final graft removal that the other quack doctor left in about 6 years ago. This surgeon is wonderful and he says now I have nasal valve collapse on both sides and no support in the tip at all. He says he can help me, but with my prior history of multiple surgeries, it will require 2 surgeries and he'll have to use some of my rib cartliage. I was curious if anyone out there has had this before using rib cartilage? I am very scared, horribly scarred, and have been botched many times. What should I do? He says my medical insurance will completely cover this due to being a medical necessity. Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much :)
