I'm 25...everyone tells me I look way older and it drives me nuts. People thought I was older when I was a teenager, too. I know being older is associated with wrinkles and sun damage, smoking, etc...but I don't have those things. I never smoked, I have only tanned a handful of times in my life (I now wear 50 SPF) and I use retin-a currently, which has been nice for my skin. I'm not underweight, perfectly healthy normal BMI. I was starting to feel good about my skin and my whole "look" until the other night a girl told me, "You DEFINITELY look older than 25." WHY?! She couldn't even tell me why, she said she had no clue, just a "look". This is so maddening. I don't want to get any crazy invasive surgery like a face lift but I am open to fillers. Ugh. I'm at my wit's end. I have heard some people just look 30-35 forever (they look old when young, and young when old) and if I'm one of those people I'd be happy with that. But I can't seem to figure out if I am or not.
