I've had a lot of anxiety since, I worry about finding the right doctor, and getting the optimal results. I didn’t want to jump into anything without enough knowledge or preparation. I want to point out that perfection isn't what I am seeking as I believe that is unattainable and unrealistic for anyone really. I am just seeing a more natural, elegant looking nose, one that would compliment my features. I've done all the research, I’ve seen plenty of doctors for consultations, they have all told me that I am a good candidate, I just think that it’s time for me to finally move ahead. If it helps, my nose is asymmetrical (noticeably so) it also sticks out too far and my tip is pinched (which I believe gives me a unnatural look). All of the doctors I've seen believe that I am a good candidate, I'm just trying to make the best decision and realize that I need more help.
Is it better to go with someone who has an ENT background or general surgery when it comes to revisions? Or should I measure it by skill alone? Some doctors have told me that they will only use septal cartilage since mine is untouched. Others have said that they would need to use some ear cartilage. Others have mentioned using some rib, which I worry is a little too invasive at this point.I know that they are all great. I just want help with the decision making whether it is from doctors who worked with any of the below or patients who have had surgery with any of them and feel comfortable talking about their experience with me?- Dr. Daniel Becker (NJ)- Dr. Andrew Frankel (CA)- Dr. Dean Toriumi (IL)- Dr. Benjamin Swartout (CA)- Dr. Rollin Daniel (CA)- Dr. Daniel Baker (NY)- Dr. Ronald Gruber (CA)- Dr. Benjamin Swartout (CA)- Dr. Garth Fisher- Dr. Gilbert Aiach (Paris)
