Can someone please help me… I honestly feel desperate at this point.
About 3 years ago I went in for what I thought would be a lower eyelid pinch surgery. Instead, the doctor convinced me I didn’t need it and recommended Sculptra, saying it was something “all celebrities are doing”. I was only 25, trusted her, and said yes.
She injected around 10 ml of diluted Sculptra into my cheeks, all the way down toward my nasolabial folds. Right after, I looked extremely overfilled and honestly kind of shocking. I was told it was normal and would settle — but it never did.
Since then, my face hasn’t gone back to normal. My cheeks feel too big for my face, and I look constantly overfilled. I naturally had a slim face with soft, natural volume before, so this feels completely unlike me. Some days I honestly just cry because I don’t recognize myself anymore.
I’ve also developed two larger “lumps” in my cheeks. They feel soft on the outside, but inside I can clearly feel a smaller, firm, pea-sized core.
I live in Sweden and I’ve seen around 10 board-certified dermatologists. Every single one has told me there’s nothing they can do and refused treatments like steroid injections.
Has ANYONE been through something similar with Sculptra and actually improved? I feel completely stuck and would really appreciate any advice or experiences.
