What is Broadband Light? BBL (BroadBand Light) is an IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) device for treating the telltale signs of  aging, active lifestyles and sun damage.  How does BBL work? A handheld flashgun is passed across the treatment area, delivering pulses of light to heat the upper layers of the skin. This energy encourages the skin cells to regenerate, resulting in clearer, more youthful looking skin. What conditions does Broadband Light treat? Sun damage Age spots Freckles Small veins Rosacea Acne Hair removal Mild skin tighteningHow long does the treatment take? Depending on the area to be treated, it can take a few minutes or up to 30 minutes. What are the side effects of BBL? Some patients experience swelling and redness in the treatment area, which usually subsides by the following day. Source: Sciton
