Hi all! I am 40 something and I am in the early stages of highly considering having this procedure done. I am researchingdoctors. I am in the Baltimore/DC area. If anyone here has used or can recommend a surgeon, I will look into them. Many of whom I would consider are in California or NY. Figures!I am looking for advice on how to cope with the bed rest? I specifically ask b/c last fall I had surgery and  I was in bed straight for 3 days with limited movement/positions (gallbladder.)    I was SO sore from being in the same spot. Itbecame painful to even sleep or lie. So, I am looking for advice on possible aides to help (but only if they actually work bc I don't want to waste my money.) lol. I have read about bed wedges (?) and also bed rest pillows, although some reviews I've read that they weren't helpful(?)   I only want to use/buy things that work .. and things that won't aggravate the area due to positioning! If you can tell me any advice on how you dealt with resting and sleeping, that would be a huge help. What worked, what didn't work .. what position did you sleep in etc. Also, wondering if at what point you can actually lie on your side .. would a body pillow help to keep the legs open enough so that it is more comfortable?? Thanks for your advice! Also, for you young women who have already had this procedure, I say, good for you!  Lucky to have fixed theproblem while you are still young.  Trust me, I have hated this my entire life.  The self esteem issues don't get any better.  I am happily married, am done having kids, and I still hate it!
