Hi everyone! I have scheduled my breast augmentation for July and the implants will be placed subglandular, or over the muscle. My surgeon recommended this since I have enough breast tissue. I was very surprised after everything I read said to go under the muscle for natural looking results, however since I have enough breast tissue he said they will still look natural (5cm). Now I am excited about this way, since from what I've read the recovery is quicker and surgery is much less invasive than under the muscle. I am curious if anyone here has had sub-glandular placement, and how you like your results? What was your recovery time like? I'm also wondering if I should postpone my surgery to the winter so that I'm not spending all summer recovering, even though the surgeon thinks my recovery will be very quick. Thank you!!
