I was very happy with the results and healing of the first round (all of the swelling was even and the bruising was minimal) of Sculptra. My normal girl was on maternity leave, and had a second round that I went in for at around week 10. I should have rescheduled and waiting for my girl because this different injector made me feel rushed but assumed that all my goals were in my chart. This injector had a completely different technique and almost want just spot checking and poking me a thousand times as opposed to my girl that did a methodical, fanning technique. My right check and my left jaw (mirror image in photo) have the most concentrated amounts of Sculptra and bruising, as you can see in my pictures, so I am massively uneven. When I did my first round, I swelled and healed in the same places where I was injected and where my results were. Also, on the first go around, my normal injector missed a small section on my jawline and I went back and she fixed it after a week (I went back to do my neck lines separately) but now they are telling me that I can't do that because of "how Sculptra works." I understand the risks and how it works, but now there is a legitimate bolus (ball of fluid) in my jaw and it changed my face shape on that side and now I am being told it is not the Sculptra but a hematoma, and that can happen and is normal. I want them to just even it out on the opposing sides, which they did last time, with great results, and I am getting push back. They don't want to fill the other side in the chance that it will be uneven the other way and want me to wait the 8-10 weeks to see. I need help on what to do and how to proceed!
